Important settings for Battle.net desktop client

31.10.2013

Assuming that you have the default settings of the client.

Go to “Beta” > “Settings” > General > enable “Launch Battle.net when you start your computer”, enable “Launch Battle.net minimized to the system tray”.

Also, “When I click ‘X’ at the top of the window”, select “Minimize Battle.net to System Tray”.

Toasts? These are some in-game notifications. Leave the option as enabled.

Other than these settings, there isn’t much to change.

If you have a Razer mouse or keyboard that supports Razer Synapse 2.0, you can launch the Battle.net desktop client from a single click on the keyboard or the mouse. I have the client assigned to the “back” button from my Razer Naga. If the client is running in the background, it instantly appears when I click the “back” button.
