Need for Speed Rivals could be released in November 2013

“Need for Speed Rivals” could be released in the middle of November 2013. This is if we consider that the pre-orders are closing on 13 November 2013.

The game is only available for pre-order on Origin and not on Steam. This is because EA owns Origin. You can find on Steam only some old NFS games, not including even NFS The Run or the latest, NFS Most Wanted.

What we know so far about Need for Speed Rivals?

The game is developed by Ghost Games, a new established gaming studio owned by Electronic Arts, from Gothenburg, Sweden. This studio hasn’t released any other video games so far.

The game will be available for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4. The price is around 50 euro.

NFS Rivals will have police chases, you can choose to play as either outlaws or cops.

There will be an advanced multiplayer mode where you can quickly join your friend’s races.

We will be able to customize our cars but don’t expect anything like we had in Need for Speed Underground.

“Pursuit and Evasion Tech”. We will be able to own some advanced equipment that can be upgraded. This equipment will help use in pursuits or to evade the cops.

There is no gameplay trailer available yet, just a teaser that doesn’t show anything.
