NFS Most Wanted for Android – Nexus 7 black screen bug was fixed

13.01.2014

As we said in this previous article, there was a bug on Nexus 7 when playing Need for Speed Most Wanted. The screen was black, the player could only see the shape of the cars, it was impossible to play the game like this.

The latest update has fixed this issue, the game has textures now and is fully playable.

What you need to know is that there is no update button on Google Play and once you start the game, there won’t be any auto-update.

To fix NFS Most Wanted, uninstall it and then click on the “install” button from Google Play. You will have to download around 600-700 Mb all over again.

How the game runs on Nexus 7?

Far from perfect, there are framerate drops when there are more cars in a race, it doesn’t feel that it runs like it should. But it’s playable, when you have the lead (you are on the top position) and you have no cars in front of you, the framerate is fine.

A great game overall, along with Asphalt 7.
